Luxembourg's Prime Minister Xavier Bettel Visits Talkwalker

Written by Talkwalker | February 6, 2017

Guess who stopped by the Talkwalker office this morning? None other than Luxembourg's Prime Minister Xavier Bettel ! Talkwalker founder Thibaut Britz and CEO Robert Glaesener had the pleasure to meet Mr. Bettel, as well as to show him the social media analytics platform in action as he discovered how Luxembourg was discussed on social media.

On top: the most discussed topics in the news linked to Luxembourg over the last 7 days.
At the bottom: the share of voice of Luxembourgish political parties
in the news and on Twitter.

Talkwalker was founded in 2009 by Luxembourgish entrepreneurs Thibaut Britz and Christophe Folschette. It has now grown from a two-person start-up to an international company with over 120 employees.  Most of them are still located in Luxembourg, along with the entire crew of developers. Talkwalker has also been present in the United States since 2015 with offices in New York City and San Francisco (the latter just opened earlier this month!).

To greet the Prime Minister, our IT team photoshopped the Luxembourgish flag to incorporate in our favorite Yeti! Here's the masterpiece:

The Talkwalker Team: Over 25 Countries Represented

The Prime Minister was impressed by the diversity of the Talkwalker workforce: our employees come from 25 different countries, from Sweden to China, and from India to Greece. The Luxembourgish nationality is the most represented (23%), followed by all three bordering countries (Germany, France and Belgium).
