Non appena Twitter ha annunciato che avrebbe rimosso il sacrosanto limite dei 140 caratteri, la reazione è stata immediata. C'è statop chi ha accolto positivamente la notizia e, ovviamente, chi non l'ha apprezzata. In qualità di social media addict ho trascorso la giornata monitorando le reazioni social attorno all'hashtag #280character per capire come stava reagendo la community in tutto il mondo. Ecco alcuni numeri e alcuni esempi che abbiamo rilevato grazie al nostro nuovo sistema di sentiment analysis basata sull'intelligenza artificiale.
#280characters: i numeri
Da quando è stato pubblicato il tweet sull'account ufficiale di Twitter che annunciava la notizia, l'hashtag "280 characters" è stato twittato nelle diverse versioni in inglese, francese, italiano, tedesco e spagnolo 810.255 times! Il numero in realtà sta aumentando mentre sto scrivendo il post, quindi ho deciso di integrare un live counter così da aver un dato sempre aggiornato!
Attraverso la sentiment analysis è interessante notare come oltre il 78,4% dei risultati ha un sentiment negativo (abbiamo rimosso tutti i risultati neutri)!
Metodologia: è stato tracciato l'hashtag #280characters
e le diverse versioni dell'hashtag utilizzate in francese, italiano, tedesco, portoghese e spagnolo.
#280characters: i tweet più popolari
Avere a disposizione una panoramica generale sul sentiment dei post è sicuramente utile ma andare ad individuare i tweet più popolari è davvero divertente e interessante, perchè permette al brand di comprendere la reazione al cambiamento nei suoi diversi aspetti.
