We are looking for a Senior Manager, Financial Controls and Reporting to further strengthen and lead our Controlling Team of 2 people. This team works in close collaboration with the Accounting team (5 people) to identify issues and implement new processes, procedures, and automation.

The Senior Manager should be very familiar with complex accounting matters, consolidation processes and have previous experience working with Oracle NetSuite.

This job can be done remotely from Luxembourg, France, Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom.

For this position, you need to be a confident all-around person who takes initiative and challenges the status quo.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee accounting processes for all the entities in Talkwalker group;
  • Cost analysis and explain variances to budget and forecast;
  • Control the revenue amounts and explain the variances;
  • Be involved in the consolidation process;
  • Ensure accuracy of monthly closing reports and financial statements;
  • Control month end closing procedures and suggest improvements/changes to the existing processes and policies when needed;
  • Be in charge of audit preparation and manage the relationship with external auditors for ordinary requests;
  • Ensure appropriate documentation in support of significant matters of judgement, draft accounting memos;
  • Manage ad hoc projects (invoicing from India, sales tax structure in US, implementation of new tools…);
  • Act as a point of contact to more junior staff and accountants, train them in NetSuite, suggest changes to the process;
  • Act as an administrator in NetSuite.
  • Must-have:

  • Fluency in English;
  • Prior experience with NetSuite is a must;
  • Remote-team management experience;
  • Excellent knowledge of consolidation processes;
  • Prior proven experience gained in the accounting department of an international company or in audit preferably in an accounting/audit firm;
  • Excellent Excel skills;
  • Ability to thrive in a growth environment, adapt to changing circumstances and work autonomously;
  • Detail-oriented, but at the same time able to understand the big picture;
  • Team player and leadership qualities;
  • Organized, proactive, flexible and reliable.
  • Nice-to-have:

  • Prior experience in a SaaS company is a plus;
  • Prior experience on project management is a plus;
  • ACCA, CIMA or similar credentials;
  • Business proficiency in another language.
