We are searching for a motivated Collections Specialist to call clients and recover overdue payments while building trust and guaranteeing timely payments.
You should project professionalism and dependability, be able to operate independently, and have great communication as well as negotiation abilities.
This role will be part of a growing Credit & Collections team of 4 people.
Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts;Investigate historical data for each debt or invoice;Find and contact clients to ask about their overdue payments via phone & email;Take actions to encourage timely debt payments;Resolve billing and customer credit issues;Update account status records and collection efforts;Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status.
A minimum B2 level in English;Excel and Word skills;Ability to work analytically within a problem-solving environment;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
Nice to have:
Additional languages, for eg. French or Spanish;Oracle NetSuite experience;Experience in collections/accounts receivable team will be an asset.
