We are looking for a Global Business Development Manager to lead, support and motivate a global team of Business Development Representatives (11 people) responsible for developing business opportunities coming from inbound leads. As part of the Marketing team and in close collaboration with Sales, your objective will be to pre-qualify the inbound leads and maximize its conversion into meetings for Sales and ultimately contribute to the inbound revenue.
You have high drive and energy to motivate your team on a daily basis, you have strong result orientation and you get things done. You are organized and have strong analytical abilities. Your team will be spread across different continents. It is therefore important that you are comfortable managing a team working remotely.
This is a newly created role within the Marketing team and a great opportunity to be involved in something from inception.
Play a pivotal role in the marketing team’s strategy by developing business opportunities coming from inbound leads (marketing professionals working at SMEs and big global brads)Manage a global team of 11 BDRs located across US, APAC, EU: performance management, coaching, development, retentionDefine an optimum strategy and process for the inbound leads’ pre-qualification and contact: lead prioritization & research, contact channels, pre-qualification criteria and talk tracks, etc.Manage team’s lead pipeline and outreach via CRM and Sales Automation tools, prospecting via phone calls, emails, and LinkedIn with support from our world class marketing teamCoach your team how effectively communicate Talkwalker’s vision to potential prospects – global brands and agencies, in a well-organized, thoughtful mannerSet clear targets for your team members, define priorities to achieve the maximum performance, motivate your team members to deliver on set daily KPIsAdopt a test and learn approach to continuously optimize the BDRs performance and lead conversionWork closely with Marketing & Sales managers to give feedback on the quality of leads and receive feedback on the quality of meetings scheduled for Sales executives, plan BDR’s work efficiently and regularly align on lead prioritizationReport on the team performance to the Demand Generation Team Lead
3+ years of B2B sales or BDR/SDR experience – ideally in a team manager’s position within SaaS settingExcellent communication skills and the ability to inspire othersStrong personal drive and results orientationGrowth hacking mind always finding new ways to boost performanceA strong understanding of business development techniques, based on a track record of previous success and experience within previous telephone sales /account management rolesA verifiable history of exceeding personal targetsExperience in contact strategy / methodology and best practice, including use of CRM and Sales automation toolsTrack record and excellence in organizational skills and planning abilitiesFlexible and able to adapt to quickly changing prioritiesNative level of English, knowledge of any other additional language is a plus
