At Talkwalker, our Sales team is responsible to attract, nurture and close business opportunities generated from both inbound, outbound and partner activities. They are responsible to connect with prospective clients to introduce them to Talkwalker and demonstrate the value of our analytics platform throughout the Marketing, Communications and Insights departments.

Talkwalker is an online and social data analytics software company specialized in listening, analytics and reporting that empowers over 2,000 brands analyzing online conversations on social networks in 187 languages. The company is extremely international with their headquarters based in the city center of Luxembourg and has additional offices in New York City, San Francisco, Frankfurt, Singapore, and Paris.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 4 - 6 Mid-Market Sales Executives
  • Lead a team of 2 - 4 Sales Development Representatives
  • Work with the team to determine strategies to effectively take the Talkwalker platform to Mid-Market customers on the JAPAC market
  • Represent the company in various conferences, trade-shows, and networking events to attract more and more clients
  • Establish a performance goal for each employee, coach and develop the team members to over-perform their sales targets
  • Participate in our overall sales and marketing strategy
  • Report plans, achievements, and facts before the  Managing Director JAPAC 
  • Qualifications:

  • You have 5+ years of quota-carrying experience in a technology solution-selling environment, in the media monitoring industry, in the advertisement space industry, in the software SaaS industry, or in a major digital/communication/PR agency
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in selling SaaS Analytics or PR Communications SaaS solutions
  • 3+ years managing a team of Individual Contributors or Sales Development Representatives
  • Experience in hiring and onboarding new employees
  • Be familiar with Inside Sales and BDR best practices
  • Strong Salesforce knowledge
