The Product team, located in Luxembourg and London, manages all products and product lines, from the Freemium products (like the famous Talkwalker Alerts) to the flagship products such as Analytics and Quick Search. Data project managers are in charge of the end-to-end integration of new data sources into the Talkwalker platform. Typical new sources include structured and unstructured data from new social media sources, e-commerce websites, entreprise software and other sources to improve our products according to our strategic directions and customer needs. The data project manager is a multi-disciplinary function required to drive cross-functional teams internally and also to understand customer needs by directly interacting with partners and customers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end integration of new data sources including technical and commercial assessments, as well as overseeing the back- and front-end implementation towards product launch
  • Translate customer needs and use cases into functional requirements
  • Own and oversee the overall execution of data integrations, including defining acceptance criteria, and setting/meeting deadlines
  • Lead cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
  • Hold regular progress meetings and defend your projects in front of Sr Management
  • Participate in customer meetings as “data subject matter expert”, showing both commercial acumen and technical expertise
  • Contribute to data roadmap by proposing and analyzing new data integrations to support the strategic direction taken by the business
  • Become an internal “go-to” data subject matter expert for multiple stakeholders
  • Prepare documentation for new releases in our internal and external knowledge base
  • Gather user feedback and establish internal feedback loops
  • Work with to diagnose and remediate bugs
  • Qualifications:

  • You have previous experience in Social Media Analytics / Consumer Insights / Consumer Intelligence
  • You have worked for 4-7 years in similar roles, preferably with exposure to data analytics, APIs, and software
  • You are comfortable engaging with both technical and commercial stakeholders. For example, you are able to think big picture, work on a business case and also understand trade-offs in engineering conversations
  • You have demonstrated project management experience and possibly a related certification
  • You are familiar with lean startup and agile methodologies
  • You are customer centric
  • You are rigorous, organized, analytical and a good team player
  • You are good at communication with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
  • You have a university degree with a technical or business major
  • You are flexible, goal-oriented, like to work independently and “get things done”
  • You are able to navigate uncertainty, bring clarity and focus
  • You are fluent in English, any other language is an additional advantage
