At Talkwalker, our Sales team is responsible to attract, nurture and close business opportunities generated from both inbound, outbound and partner activities. They are responsible to connect with prospective clients to introduce them to Talkwalker and demonstrate the value of our analytics platform throughout the Marketing, Communications and Insights departments.
Talkwalker is an online and social data analytics software company specialized in listening, analytics and reporting that empowers over 2,000 brands analyzing online conversations on social networks in 187 languages. The company is extremely international with their headquarters based in the city center of Luxembourg and has additional offices in New York City, San Francisco, Frankfurt, Singapore, and Paris.

Key responsibilities:

  • This is an individual contributor role / new business hunter
  • Drive and own opportunity development and sales responsibilities for enterprise accounts across D/A/CH.
  • The main focus will be winning new business / new key logos across industry verticals.
  • Proactive sales approach, penetration of new accounts by connecting and establishing relationships with senior-level executives across marketing, consumer insights, customer experience and other adjacent departments/teams.
  • Work through the entire sales cycle; prospecting, exploration, presenting, negotiation through to closing.
  • Work closely with our internal Solutions teams to customise the Talkwalker platform for high impact customer presentations that solve business challenges.
  • Guide and advise customers bringing compelling insights and ideas with follow-through execution.
  • Building and maintaining a pipeline of high-quality opportunities
  • Executing Talkwalker’s value-based sales methodology and Salesforce.com to manage sales processes and accurately forecast business
  • Working with the largest and best known brands / companies in the region.
  • Qualifications:

  • 5 - 10 years sales experience with SaaS / Digital / Analytics products into large enterprise accounts
  • Digital native
  • Experience selling into marketing related departments (Digital Marketing, Consumer Insights, Customer Experience CX)
  • Your sales skills encompass excellent probing skills, negotiating & networking skills and objection handling.
  • Excellent presentation skills, executive presence.
  • Ability to navigate the sales process across multiple stakeholders as the opportunity progresses (Business, IT, Procurement)
  • Proven high performer / overachiever and experience closing five and six figure order values within mid to large sized enterprises
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously that are at different stages of the sales process

  • Team player, disciplined, persistent with the ability to think outside the box
  • Well versed in sales methodologies (Value Based Selling or similar)
  • This is a high-profile role in one of our core global markets and will require a high level of activity and hunter mentality.
  • Able to travel – as business needs arise
  • Your German is native level, fluent in English
