Strategic Account Executive - SCR

US - Sales

At Talkwalker, our Sales team is responsible to attract, nurture and close business opportunities generated from both inbound, outbound, and partner activities. They are responsible to connect with prospective clients to introduce them to Talkwalker and demonstrating the value of our analytics platform throughout the Marketing, Communications, and Insights departments.

Within Talkwalker, our Social Content Ratings® (SCR) platform provides our clients with a sophisticated yet easy-to-use solution for measuring the performance of their social investments.  SCR is achieving a leadership position in providing trusted quantitative and qualitative performance measurement and insights for the biggest brands in the fast evolving media and sports sectors. We are looking for an experienced professional who loves selling with deep product expertise to join a highly dynamic, cross-functional team to drive further success in our media and sports focus areas. 

For Colorado based roles: Minimum annual salary $101,600 . You may also be offered incentive compensation and benefits.

Key responsibilities:

  • Contribute to and work within a highly dynamic, values led, cross-functional, agile team. We are accountable to each other and our clients. We are consistently transparent and build mutual trust and respect with clients and each other. We have an agile mentality and solve problems together and have a fun time doing it.
  • Partner with the SCR team and Global GM, and Talkwalker Sales team to execute a defined sales strategy within the US media & sports verticals. 
  • Serve as an SCR product expert and attain the deepest understanding of all facets of our methodology, reporting, and client value.
  • Participate in the strategic GTM decisions around the SCR product.
  • Seek out new sales leads and business opportunities through active networking, collaborating with our ecosystem partners, utilizing business referrals, attending local and regional networking + tradeshow events and conferences.
  • With clients, collaborate with a small agile sales team, identify the necessary decision makers and influencers, build relationships and influence them in a positive way; all while keeping an eye to accelerate the prospective deal.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, supporting materials, with exceptional quality, thought-leadership and timeliness.
  • Work with Talkwalker sales associates to maintain accurate, timely records in Salesforce.
  • Consistently and accurately represent our pipeline, forecast and activity while meeting and exceeding our monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of solution sales or strategic experience selling analytics, big data, social listening or SaaS applications into organizations
  • Strong track record of consistently meeting and exceeding annual sales quota
  • A love of attaining deep product knowledge and experience in representing a product within a sales environment.
  • Existing experience and a network of relationships in the media & sports industries is a plus.
