Talkwalker is looking for a Data Analyst to join our Revenue Operations team. The Revenue Operations Data Analyst will provide insights and analysis and help us answer questions such as: What are the trends in new logo attainment? What drives these trends? Are there opportunities to improve our operations or processes? This role will partner with Talkwalker’s Finance, Operations and Revenue teams, and will be key to the company’s ability to make data driven decisions and help drive our continued growth and success.
Develop financial models across a variety of business areas; sales forecasts, headcount, customer retention, opex planning and moreBuild and maintain revenue team headcount planning and sales capacity modelsWork with cross-functional business stakeholders (Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, Operations, etc) to define KPIs, and develop automated dashboards, reports, and models to help teams make faster, better decisions.Develop and maintain revenue-related metrics and dashboards in Tableau, in addition to ad hoc analysis to help drive revenue business decisionsTake a vague revenue operations question, find the evidence needed to answer it and work either solo or cross-functionally to develop data products that deliver the answers.Develop a deep understanding of customer journey phases and related revenue metrics.Perform analytical deep-dives to analyze ad-hoc problems with quick turnarounds.Become expert on key internal and external data sources and curate revenue-specific datasets.Deliver and drive insights, helping to support data-driven revenue optimizationWork cross-functionally within the organization to identify opportunities to improve data quality and related data operations practicesProvide ongoing data analysis and proactive insights on marketing, sales and customer success performance, and business processesSupport ad-hoc Revenue Operations projects
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, FP&A, data science, economics, statistics or a related field2-3 years experience working in a corporate finance, sales/revenue operations, or similar analytical roleStrong Excel/Google Sheets experience and ability to turn a business problem into a clear spreadsheet model that drives a deeper understanding of the issuesExperience in reporting stack through tools such as Tableau, Looker, with particular focus on data access e.g. SQL and field tools (Salesforce, SalesLoft, Gong)Salesforce CRM experience preferredExperience in B2B SaaS a plusExperience with NetSuite a plusImpeccable focus and attention to detail with appreciation for solving complex, unstructured problemsProven ability to leverage large sets of unstructured data in synthesizing business insightsSelf starter & critical thinker, motivated to work independently, prioritize, and reliably meet deadlinesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal with strong interpersonal skillsStrong sense of integrity, morality, and confidentiality around sensitive informationAbility to liaise between all parts of the business including engineering, sales & customer success, marketing, finance, and the C-Suite
