Marketing Manager - DACH Market

We are currently looking for a Marketing Manager – DACH Market to join our marketing team.

Given that this role will be taking ownership of the German-speaking markets, German language skills are required.

This role can be located anywhere in Germany, we are also open to Luxembourg-based candidates.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the integrated DACH communication strategy and assist in its planning, development and execution;
  • Directly working on building strong brand awareness for Talkwalker in the DACH region;
  • Create, organize and implement communication campaigns online and on social media channels to drive Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) in collaboration with our Sales and CSM teams;
  • Consistently write, publish and promote content in German on owned and earned media channels (social, web, blog) to drive lead generation and conversions: thought leadership, trending stories, case studies, white papers, etc.;
  • Become a star in social listening analytics by using Talkwalker's monitoring and analytics platform;
  • Serve as primary contact to strengthen the company’s relationships with DACH media, and answer incoming PR inquiries from media and other organizations;
  • Strengthen our social profile in DACH and engage with our audience on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube through active community management;
  • Organize our presence at fairs and trade shows;
  • Regularly investigate, measure, and report on the performance of DACH marketing activities based on a set of pre-defined KPIs, and constantly improve the strategy;
  • Be part of the DACH Talkwalker team, and a key contributor to the overall marketing department.
  • What we're looking for:

  • Native or Fluent German language skills as well as a professional level in English;
  • Previous experience in marketing/communications within a social media savvy company or a digital/PR agency;
  • Proven knowledge of social media communications, digital PR, and content marketing;
  • Proven writing abilities and storytelling skills;
  • You're independent, organized, and structured, get things done, and collaborate openly and proactively with team members;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Great time management skills, the ability to multitask, and a willingness to travel.
