Market Manager - DACH

Talkwalker is a rapidly expanding and highly innovative IT company headquartered in Luxembourg. We provide an easy to use and powerful social media monitoring and analytics tool to agencies and companies worldwide.
To further strengthen our sales and business development team, we are looking for a Market Manager for the German-speaking market.

As a Market Manager – DACH market, you will:

  • Sell Talkwalker services:
  • Process and develop inbound leads into opportunities
  • Carry out, coordinate and plan outbound lead generation activities (events, cold calling, etc…) among SMB’s and Strategic Accounts
  • Drive the entire sales process from nurturing to closing stages in coordination with internal supporting teams
  • Meet and exceed your targets
  • Show excellent attitude towards your prospects and the internal teams
  • Lead the DACH team:
  • Encourage team work and coach teams to success
  • Drive team morale
  • Participate in the hiring effort
  • Be a value selling advocate and coach
  • Drive the Sales team’s initiatives in collaboration with the Head of Sales
  • Escalate feedback to the Head of sales to fine tune strategy/allocate ressources where needed
  • Meet and exceed the Team’s targets
  • Spur Talkwalker’s momentum forward within the DACH Market
  • Become the face of Talkwalker in the DACH region
  • We are looking for you:

  • You have gained at least 5 years of sales experience in the media monitoring industry, in a communication/PR agency or in a software company
  • You enjoy working in a dynamic and open communication culture
  • You have a university degree or an equivalent qualification
  • You are self-motivated, try things out on your own and simply get things done
  • You can demonstrate outstanding entrepreneurial spirit
  • You are fluent in English and have a native-level of German,  any other language being a strong additional advantage
