(Senior) Enterprise Sales Executive - New Business (SaaS)

At Talkwalker, our Sales team is responsible to attract, nurture and close business opportunities generated from both inbound, outbound and partner activities. They are responsible to connect with prospective clients to introduce them to Talkwalker and demonstrate the value of our analytics platform throughout the Marketing, Communications and Insights departments.

Talkwalker is an online and social data analytics software company specialized in listening, analytics and reporting that empowers over 2,000 brands analyzing online conversations on social networks in 187 languages. The company is extremely international with headquarters based in the city center of Luxembourg and has additional offices in New York City, San Francisco, Frankfurt, Singapore, and Paris.

Key responsibilities:

  • This is an individual contributor role with a focus on new business
  • Drive and own opportunity development and sales responsibilities for the largest enterprise accounts across DACH
  • Develop a business plan to execute a land and expand strategy across key target customers
  • Work through an entire sales cycle; prospecting, exploration, negotiation, close
  • Work closely with our amazing internal Solutions teams to customize the Talkwalker platform for high impact customer presentations that solve business challenges.
  • Guide and advise customers bringing compelling insights and ideas with follow-through execution.
  • Building and maintaining a pipeline of high-quality opportunities
  • Executing Talkwalker’s value-based sales methodology and Salesforce.com to manage sales processes and accurately forecast business
  • Qualifications:

  • 8 - 10 years sales experience with SaaS / Digital / Analytics products into large enterprise accounts
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to navigate the sales process across multiple stakeholders (Business, IT, Procurement)
  • Proven high performer / overachiever and experience closing €75k+ ARR order values
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Well versed in sales methodologies (Value Based Selling or similar)
  • Able to travel at least 20% of the time
  • Your German is native lever and you are fluent in business English
  • Nice to have: experience selling into marketing related departments (Digital Marketing, Social Media, Consumer Insights)
