Talkwalker Wins “Best of Show” Award

Talkwalker’s CEO of North America, Todd Grossman, spoke on two panels throughout the day. His first session was entitled “Pics, Videos, and Infographics, Oh My! The Future of Visual Social.” He spoke on the importance of visual listening in addition to social listening of text-based conversations. Often brand logos are visible without specifically being tagged, and marketers might be missing out the true reach of their brand. Talkwalker’s image recognition technology is one way brands can take advantage of an analytics platform to monitor visual mentions.

Todd’s second panel was “Social Tools to Help You Track and Analyze Results (and make your boss look like a hero).” He emphasized combining social metrics with other business data such as stock prices or sales figures to present a more complete picture of a company’s social ROI.

In the afternoon, Talkwalker participated in the Social Tools Summit Product Speedcase. Attendees rotated between vendors to view product demos, ask questions, and voted on their favorites. Our sales team presented our new Command Center feature, and a dashboard highlighting Dunkin Donuts, a Boston favorite.
