Granted, it’s one of those buzzwords found in every digital marketing trends list published in the last five years (very much like artificial intelligence, for example). Yet interest in the term has never been higher, as illustrated in the Google Trends graph below.

Influencer marketing is also a big topic for us at Talkwalker. Not only have we released a new product to help professionals search, manage and measure the performance of their influencers, but it is an area of marketing that has worked well for us as a marketing team in the last few years.

Like many marketing departments, we’re finally coming out of the experimentation phase and are professionalizing our approach. In a similar fashion, more and more of our clients are now looking for tools that will help their experts better collaborate and measure the results of their influencer campaigns.
